Come see Thomas the Tank Engine™ as he visits the Strasburg Rail Road.

Take a ride with Thomas the Tank Engine
The full-sized operating steam locomotive Thomas the Tank Engine is in town through June 26th to greet his friends. Children and their families can take a 20-minute ride through Lancaster County’s Amish farmlands on a train pulled by Thomas himself. It’s an exciting adventure for kids of all ages.
Sir Topham Hatt will even take time away from his busy schedule to meet and take pictures with guests. There are other activities, too, such as storytelling, hand-on arts and crafts, and, of course, a souvenir or two.
Thomas the Tank Engine and his friends from the Island of Sodor have touched children’s lives for over 65 years. It is all based on The Railway Series of classic stories written by a man who loved trains and wanted a shared that love with his son.
