Saturday, June 25th

Fireworks & Live Music - Rockvale Square Outlets, Routes 30 & 896, Lancaster, PA 17602, 717-293-9292. Rockvale Square's annual fireworks display beginning with a concert by the Lampeter-Strasburg Community Band under the direction of Howard Boots. A variety of patriotic and other music. 8:30 - 9:30 pm. Rain date is June 26.

Friday, July 1st

Laserdome, 2050 Auction Rd., along Rt. 283 at the Rt. 230 Mt. Joy exit, Manheim, PA 17545, 717-492-0002. "Super Play Package" includes: 2 - 40 minute sessions and unlimited laser concerts. Noon - 10:00 pm.

20th Annual Independence Day Parade - Downtown, Lititz, PA. Parade starts at 6:30 pm at West Lincoln Ave. and Warwick St and travels through downtown Lititz. “Flamin’ Dick & The Hot Rods” follows the parade in Lititz Springs Park.

Fireman's Carnival - War Memorial Park, Marietta, PA. The event features food and games with a DJ Friday and Live music Saturday. Fireworks will be Saturday night. Friday 5 - 10 pm and Saturday 4 - 10 pm. Free admission.

July 4th Sales at Tanger Outlet Center Lancaster (July 1-4) - Take advantage of special holiday sales at Tanger Outlets, 311 Stanley K. Tanger Blvd., Lancaster, PA 17602, 800-408-3477, 717-392-7260

First Friday in Downtown Lancaster - Shops, restaurants, and galleries will be open as musicians, artists and entertainers will dot the sidewalks and businesses throughout the downtown streets.

Saturday, July 2nd

The Amazing Maze Maize re-opens at Cherry Crest Adventure Farm in Ronks, just outside of Strasburg. This 5-acre corn maze includes over 2.5 miles of trails in their new design for 2011 - "Once Upon a Time.....a corny tale". Plus, they feature over 50 farm fun activities for all ages. Visit their farm animal center, singing chicken show, pedal karts, pumpkin slinger, guided wagon tour, and more. They are located at 150 Cherry Hill Road in Ronks. 866-546-1799.

Fireman's Carnival - War Memorial Park
, Marietta, PA. The event features food and games with a DJ Friday and Live music Saturday. Fireworks will be Saturday night. Friday 5 - 10 pm and Saturday 4 - 10 pm. Free admission.

194th 4th of July in Lititz - Lititz Springs Park, Lititz, PA. Gates open at noon; entrance fee charged. Casey Allyn from WIOV-FM will emcee the day's activities. Kids Games, Panning for Gold with General Sutter featuring Randy Miller, Phillie Phanatic (tentatively), Cylo, Hershey’s Characters throughout the day. 2 PM - National Anthem and Bell Ringing; 2:10 PM - New Line Revue Dancers; 3:20 PM - Zumba Party; 4 PM - 22nd Annual Baby Parade; 5 PM - Lititz Community Band; 6:30 PM - Corty Byron Acoustic Trio (Members of The Green Onions); 8 PM - 70th Annual Queen of the Candles Pageant; 8:30 PM - 168th Illumination of the Candles; 9 PM - BREAK! High Energy dancing and rhythm section; 10:15 PM - Fireworks! Synchronized

Independence Day Picnic - President James Buchanan's Wheatland, 1120 Marietta Ave., Lancaster, PA 17603, 717-392-8721. Meet James Buchanan and his family as they celebrate the 75th anniversary of our nation. Enjoy a leisurely afternoon on the lawn, listen to live music capturing the hits of 1851, play some croquet with Harriet Lane, and roll and run old-fashioned wooden hoops with Buchanan's young nephew, James Buchanan Henry. 12:00 - 4:00 pm.

Demo Derby / Fireworks Spectacular - Buck Motorsports Park, Route 272 south of Lancaster, Lancaster, PA 17604, 800-344-7855; Track (day of event only) 717-284-2139.

Music in the Vineyards - Nissley Vineyards & Winery Estate, 140 Vintage Drive, Bainbridge, PA 17502, 717-426-3514 or 800-522-2387. Open-air lawn concerts are held every Saturday evening on the lawn of the Nissley Winery through Labor Day Weekend, from 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm. (Minors are not admitted.)

Sunday, July 3rd

Celebrate America - Fireworks & Fountains - Longwood Gardens, US Route 1, Kennett Square, PA 19348, 610-388-1000. Get ready for an evening of oohs and ahhs, as Longwood presents spectacular fireworks and fountains shows guaranteed to make your summer memorable.

Fireworks & Celebration - Willow Valley Inn & Suites, 2416 Willow Street Pike, Lancaster, PA 17602, 800-444-1714, 717-464-2716. Celebrate America’s birthday at Willow Valley this year! Sunday July 3rd we have a whole event planned for your family starting with our annual Splash Party and ending with our fireworks display. Patriotic Chapel Service (8:00 am), Join our Chaplain, Alec Millen, for a non-denominational, Patriotic Hymn service celebrating American’s 235th anniversary of Independence! Splash Party (1:00 - 3:00 pm). Celebration Party (6:00 - 9:00 pm), including: giant blow up obstacle course, inflatable bouncy rides, DJ Chuck, and tons of food! Fireworks Approx., 9:15 pm.

257th Army Band, Cannon Brigade & Fireworks - Longs Park, 1441 Harrisburg Pike, Lancaster, PA, 17602, 717-735-8883. Returning for the community's favorite Independence Day celebration, the “Band of the Nation's Capital,” Charlie Smithgall's cannon brigade and spectacular fireworks! 7:30 pm.

Monday, July 4th

Old Fashioned 4th of July - Musser Park, 135 N. Lime St., Lancaster, PA 17602, 800-717-9981. While you're planning a family fun night during Fourth of July celebrations, you should definitely consider the fun for all ages that happens at the festival for the Old Fashioned 4th of July at Musser Park in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. This is a great way to spend Independence Day since everyone in your family will find something to do, as well as eat. 2:30 pm.

34th Annual Firecracker Run - Ephrata War Memorial Field, Ephrata, PA. 5-mile run starts at 8:30 am. There will also be a 2-mile fun run.

Fireworks - Lincoln Heights Outdoor Recreation, Joann and Crescent avenues, Ephrata, PA. 9:30 pm, admission is free.

Saturday, July 9th

Independence Day Celebration - Lancaster Barnstormers, Clipper Stadium, Lancaster, PA. Enjoy a game of the Lancaster Barnstormers vs. the York Revolution, followed by fireworks!
