Lancaster County dates back to the 1700's. In fact, at one point
the city of Lancaster
was the largest inland city in America. And it served as the nation's capital for one day during the war of 1812.
There is a heritage of history and learning throughout the Pennsylvania Dutch Country
that has been preserved through numerous museums and historical sites. Have fun exploring!
