Located in northeast Lancaster County, right in the heart of the Pennsylvania Dutch Country, Dennis and Karen Stoner, along with their four children, invite you to enjoy a visit on a working dairy farm. A warm welcome awaits you to a simple lifestyle in which God and family are intertwined in all of life. The Old Summer House is located in the country, but is just minutes from shopping, authentic Pennsylvania Dutch Cooking and many interesting attractions. You'll come away refreshed after experiencing a quiet evening in one of America's most fertile garden spots.

But don't confuse The Old Summer House with any other bed & breakfast...this is truly unique! To start with, you have complete privacy -- a private entrance, private bath, even your own fully equipped kitchen! This is, literally, the Old Summer House on the farm...attached to the main house, yet offering the privacy and comfort you deserve. Your accommodations include a living room with a sofa bed, a bedroom with queen size bed and sofa bed, and a TV with VCR. Every morning, a complimentary continental breakfast of homemade bread, muffins or coffee cake, jam, fresh fruit, coffee and tea is brought to the kitchen.

And remember...this is a working dairy farm! We milk about 90 Holstein cows twice a day, and raise corn, barley, alfalfa and soybeans. You are welcome to experience the daily workings of a dairy farm...help with the chores, gather eggs, befriend a pet dog, stroke a rabbit, or cuddle a kitten.
